Gerber Baby Alert!!

Lisa (Carter's momma) is a true optimist.  Whenever I talk with her, she seems to laugh at one point or another and has another great story to tell always with a smile on her face.  She is just a delight.  Well, she must have passed that gene right on down to her lil boy, Carter.  He hammed I mean HAMMED it up for the camera.  About 90% of the photos I took were all smiles.  At one point Lisa (who is expecting) got so hot she had to go inside and left Carter out with me.  He didn't care, just kept on smiling even turned about his cute lil head for some sligh poses with his favorite dog (the stuffed one) Here is a sneak peak of the first I edited! Enjoy!
Waiting for mommy's new baby in the belly! :) I facebooked the one with her hands on her belly, wanted to be a tad different her on the ole bloggity blog.

Goodbye College Days. Hello Marriage and Baby.

My old roommate Erin and I never locked our door in college.  Partly because we were lazy but also if anyone needed to come and go from our room they could.  Kinda like an open door policy but not the smartest of decisions we made...  All of our close friends knew that we never locked our doors, and took advantage of this.  One particular friend, Ashley, participated in many pranks at our expense.  We would come home to mounds of toilet paper draped literally from the ceiling to the floor, a lit easter bunny candle infront of our door (random and DANGEROUS, hello!), cut up 7eleven straws all over our room (even in the pillows!), and the list goes on.  Well, this same girl started to get to know a boy named Michael around that same year.  Time passed, we moved on our separate ways after our two years at this junior college. Ashley and Michael then moved to Kentucky and started to date.  Years later they married, and about a month ago had a lil girl of their own named Kherington.  I got the opportunity to meet this beautiful girl!  It is great to see friends I chummed around with in college become, ahem, adults *cough*.  Now if only someone can send that memo over to me.:) Congratulations Ashley and Michael!  She is darling!!

Blue Grass and a White Dress.

Most folks don't believe in love at first sight, it just doesn't seem logical, I being a fellow skeptic.  I always thought Adrienne to be this way too.  So to my surprise (and my delight), I got a call from her one day this past spring asking me to photograph her wedding.  Of course, there is nothing out of the ordinary with that.  BUT, what struck me was what she said about Scott 'We met, and I just knew right away that he was it, no question.  We immediately clicked and that was that.'  Well, if you knew Adrienne, then you would understand what a surprise it was.  Now, I could be wrong, but I always thought she sees the reality of things, really thinks them through and then assesses the situation.  So, her saying what she said, made me think 'well, gee. Maybe she is right! What a cool thing to experience, to meet someone you know nothing about and see your future right infront of you' .  I packed my bags and flew to Kentucky to witness a marriage between two people who knew they belonged together from the beginning.  It reminded me of the Michael Buble song 'I Just Haven't Met You', but they did meet not to long ago and now they are married.  Congrats Adrienne and Scott!  May you continue in health and happiness and get to grow old and raggity together:)
Adrienne had this 1940's look going on, which I lllloved. A huge fan of the vintage look, HUGE FAN!
There is nothing wrong with a little bowtie now and again...Aside from Adrienne's radiant smile and the cute child to the right, it made this picture a favorite of mine.  Thank you bowtie!
Shout out to the flower girl, noone alerted her that it was not her big day.  She loved the attention more than any other 1 year old I have ever seen!
