Cold front and a warm wedding.

The day was a chilly one. In fact, it was the chilliest day of the season. I wasn't quite ready for this weather just yet, but I have to say that I shouldn't complain, atleast I wasn't wearing a strapless dress. Although the temp was low, you couldn't really tell. No. But what you coul see were the happy faces of everyone was on this brisk Florida afternoon!

I think this is just plain sweet.

The bride's sister and her sister's husband sneaking a moment.

This was a bit different. After the ceremony, they wanted a picture with them and all of their guests. I got this shot while Sarah climbed on a ladder and shot the entire crowd.

Tis the Season to Be Merry and Take Pictures!

Nicole emailed me. It had to do with holidays, cards and pictures needing to be taken. Three things I love. So I emailed her back a big fat 'Y - E - S!'.....We went over to Hyde Park for some pictures...Even though they hadn't lit the area (and won't until after thanksgiving), decorations were up and they were nice, and enormous. There were presents, a big ole tree, oversized ornaments and a sleigh. A great place for holiday photos!! Here is a sneak peak! Enjoy.

The present on the right is mine, Santa said so. Nyla is just holding onto it for me.

Enjoy that Thanksgiving coming up!!! Look around and be thankful, BUT don't forget to be thankful for all the blessings we have everyday and not just on the holidays!

Veil vs. Bride: Winner goes to......

It was a windy, WINDY day in Sarasota....I love windy days like these. If you are oceanside, you have a better chance to do some body surfing/body boarding (not really surfing, waves aren't that grand here). If you are inland, it gives you chance to take the kids for a nice not sweltering day at the park. If you are at the Saturday market in St. Pete (the best part of Saturday:)), it cools ya down as you walk from booth to booth. If you are partaking in a wedding, it may not be as rewarding..... seems like everything wants to blow away. I secretly like it. Especially when a lifeless veil comes to life! Now, don't get me wrong, veils are nice BUT they are great when its windy. Grandma sorry if your program flew two seats ahead. The veil is flowing. Bride, sorry the curls aren't staying. But check out that veil! Florist, your loose flowers are making their way to the beach?! Well, at least the veil is still intact, dancing in the wind. I dedicate this blog, to the veil. I am surprised it stayed in the brides hair, then again, I'm not.

Grandma told me this story I can't really remember, boy she was a joy though!! I love grandmas so much!

Oh Jimmy Choo....your shoes get their own picture. They are SO NICE. Painful, but nice.

Alot to be desired here, BUT its all antique-y and the moment was nice.

the end.
