Hello to Miss Kennedy!!!

I had the great pleasure of taking pictures of Miss Kennedy's birth. On Thursday around 5 I arrived with my camera and work on hand (it's rare anyone gives birth right away so I kept myself busy). We had a moment around 10:50 where we thought she was on her way, BUT as luck would have it, she didn't come into this world until 6:38. She was healthy and mom is doing great so that is ALL that matters. I came back later to take a couple of pictures of her in the hospital. Give you it's the hospital but that didn't matter, Kennedy was AMAZING and beautiful!!!  Here are a couple from the day or so after labor day.  Mike and Shannon, I did take some pics of us in the waiting room and such that I will gladly put with these :). SO GLAD I could be a part of the beginning of your beautiful family!

 She just naturally smiles, WOW!
The 1930's called and wants to know why a classy lady like Kennedy was born in 2012.

Being a huge Kentucky fan this was hard to edit but I have to admit this looks cute on her!

Kennedy, you have great taste!!!! Already rooting on a GREAT team, ahem, GO RAYS!!!

A Friend and Family I am in Debt to

It is a blessing to have a great friend.  I met Kristie at my favorite college (yes I have a favorite, I went to three colleges and even two beauty institutes, I graduated people...well atleast the beauty institute...another story for another day....but there is a favorite and it was the smallest of those, Florida College) After this lil college, I needed a place to stay in order to afford the University of South Florida. Kristie, the sweetest gal that she is AND her most gracious family allowed me to stay with them for a year.  To open a home to someone is no small feat, and at the time my little pea brain was only as thankful as I could be in my most selfish way but really, it was a HUGE blessing. Her mother, Kim, became one of my favorite people in this world that we live in and I learned so much from their family, sadly I could not to spit a tune in a bucket, they would all sing except me who would just bob my head with what I thought was the beat.  I will never forget, nor will I ever lose the gratitude to the blessing of living there for the year I did. So much I learned from the entire family. Had it not been for Kristie, I would have never had this opportunity. I love them and always will. If they hadn't opened their home, I wouldn't have the chance to try my hand at majoring in Fine Arts at USF. One step that brought me closer to the pictures below.  I could write a novel on the great memories with Kristie in college and after and our friends extended. What a blessing to see her family grow!!!! Here are their pictures with the visit home. Kris, totally wish you were back in Florida!!!!!! :) Love you guys! ALSO weather was dreary but we just missed the rain, so glad they chanced it and came all the way to St. Pete anyway!
