A classic look in an old historic hotel turned University.

I met up with Emily, Chris and Claire at the University of Tampa... This place is so unique and nearly picture perfect at every turn that you actually run into a photographer at every turn...I have to admit, I was the lucky one that day.  Claire has this unique (yet classic) look about her.  I feel like we did a disservice and plucked her right out of the 1930's to join is pop culture country.  Here are a few of my favorites from that day!

Claire just charged after me on this one, she was on a mission to get her stick that I was holding!
This picture cracked me up....if the happy couple only knew I was taking a picture of what their life might look like in several years!

Family. Seniors and such.

I met Lorie and her kids for a family shoot, and some senior portraits.  Her son, who will be graduating in 2011 (wow, I am old) is planning to be a doctor...yep, a doctor.  I just hope he remembers me when he is out there on the field.  And Lorie's daughter made me laugh the whole time....Lorie, I just want you to know, I was like her (almost exactly) when I was her age...you might as well buy her a camera now, ha! We had a fun time exploring what might (I am sure it will) be Tyler's new campus home and taking some pics...senior portraits are under construction, but here are the first few I edited!

Keeping Up With The Jones'!

You gotta love a beautiful, happy-go lucky family.  I know I do, and what's even better is when that family has great style (I still want that dress for New Years Nicole:)), great smiles and will do about anything I tell them to do.  The Jones' were that family...I felt like I about ruined Nicole's beautiful dress asking her to sit on the freshly watered lawn...she didn't say a thing, just smiled...in fact, I was the only one complaining when I got on my knees to take the picture and two huge water spots appeared on my pants. Thanks for being so nice about that guys!  :) Here are a few from that day...Oh and a shout out to Nadir and Nicole who just recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary....you gotta love love!

This is one of my favorites!

Two lil adventurers....

One of the many wonderful beauties of St. Pete is you really get to know your neighbors.  After several months, you recognize the same people at publix or whole foods.  You get to know the cashiers at TJMAXX (ok that may be just me).  Or you spot the same folks at local hot spots.  I have a love for one that is just around the corner of my house, they make some great pizzas or my personal favorite bbq chicken and plantain quesadillas.  I would see Sue in there on occasion.  We struck up a quick friendship, she is such a fun gal, full of life.  I just recently had the opportunity to have a session with her and her sons....Talk about two super sweet fun-loving young men!  Collin was the intellect, take care of you type.  He (painfully, I would have cried) fell off a tree at one point, and immediately warned his brother to watch out, already looking out for family.  Connor has a heart of gold, he is sweet and just loveable, I really wanted to be the crazy aunt that pinches his cheeks but I maintained my coolness.  We had a great time downtown St. Pete, walking dangerously close to the water, climbing trees, running up and down the ramps at the St. Pete Museum, oh and taking a couple of pictures.  Here are a few from that day.  Have a super fabulous week!:)
Shoutout to ole fluffy, the class dog!

Wedding of LOVE and such...

He saw a picture of her on his sister's pictures...he immediately saw a beauty beyond words.  Not only just a picture but he went to grab fastfood after this picture haunted his memory only within hours of seeing her and she so happened to walk by..."Is that my sister's friend?" He knew it was her, he knew there was something very special about her, he had to know her.  He asked his sister adamantly until his sister gave his number (hesitantly so, of course it's her brother afterall).  After the ok, he got her number and the rest is history...or will be history because we are living in the now and they are just married....this is just the beginning of two lives deciding to be one...Beautiful, cultured lives (he has a business in Spain and they are back and forth, how nice for them:)), living something that is greater than themselves alone.  Good luck to the new married love!

I just love this picture!!!! So not choreographed and just great!!
