The beautiful Avila Country Club on a beautiful rainy day

It was a rainy day. We walked into the beautiful Avila Country Club as thunder clapped and ominous clouds filled the sky. I thought 'oh great, flash here we come', this was my first true rainy day wedding (that I had a camera in tow and wasn't a guest). I looked over at Sarah who had little concern over the rain clouds and more concern on where the groom was. Why was she ok? Because though it was rainy it didn't mean we couldn't get some fabo shots. Infact, rainy days bring a beautiful light and actually made our job a bit easier, at least for this one. Yeah, we were wondering if formals would be inside or out but the light coming in from outside was beautiful and it cleared up just in time for some great outdoor shots, the best part the bride and groom weren't afraid to get a lil wet! So, bring on the rain.

My favorite shot for these here reasons: 1) A whisper in the ear 2) a comforting look 3) the dude giving the peace sign. Classic!

Contagious part two~

Here are just a few of the pictures I was talking about from the prior post. They are so sweet together..... Sunday's pictures up later!

What's more contagious than Laughter??

This weekend was, well, a busy one. Sarah invited me along to help with two weddings! Whew and whoot whoot!... I may have been a little under the weather for these two weddings, but I am thankful to have been a part nonetheless. The first was Saturday. It was loads of fun! Let me tell you, the bride, Jess, had such a bubbly personality and may have been one of the sweetest brides we have worked with. I think its all in the name really ;). I should have put up a different set of pictures because about two thirds of them were of the two laughing together. That is what I love to see, it shows a beautiful friendship. It shows another side of love that is contagious. And it was, believe me! Also, their wedding gets the 'right on!' award for these reasons: a) their deco was rad- made me feel so fresh and so clean clean b) they had a sundae bar - yummmwow! c) they had a cool photobooth that guests took great advantage of. At times, I felt like I was at some sort of summer boardwalk celebration. I may later show some pics of their laughter! Enjoy and let that contagious laughter get the best of you, I promise it's not the swine flu.
Side note: Who is excited to see Conan next week?? True blue Conan fan right here!!

Dis, my friends makes me hungry....two favorites of mine bread and
cheese, when I see this my mouth begins to salivate these rolls were
no exception!

These were the only serious shots I think I got out of them....I just had to document it, I will upload the shots of them with all smiles later.
Its worth to see.

Part Two!

Here are some more images for your enjoyment. Happy Tuesday!!

Good Folks + A Big Celebration = A Great Wedding

This weekend I helped Sarah with a wedding in St. Pete at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, the reception at the Tampa Bay Watchtower over by Ft. Desoto. This wedding was very well thought out....details, details, details. I haven't gotten around to editing all the details....I just get so excited about the people in it that I gravitate to that first. The couple, their friends and family were just loads of fun.... I am gonna have to do another blog that shows that AND put in all the lovely details.
Normally, I am not so speedy blogging but I was up all night trying to figure out how fix a problem with camera cards....and now I feel sick, maybe its the swine flu. Kidding, of course.
Whatever it is has me stir crazy and on an editing frenzy! I hope ya'll enjoy these shots! I hope ya'll aren't sitting here enjoying these shots with a fever.... if you are, I feel your pain. Ok, where's the jello?
