I have wedding photos I have been working on from the Sunday wedding at Davis Island that Sarah and I photographed. In the meantime, I would like to encourage you to think about all the things you love about where you live. One thing I just LLLOOOVVVEEE about St. Pete are their (or I guess our) Saturdays!! Every Saturday seems to bring something new, especially this time of year. The best is the Saturday Market. Way to support the locals!! If I am not working, you could probably guess where I will be. This past Saturday, I met up with some friends at the Art Festival at the Vinoy Park. It was SSOOOO nice, equipped with a band and all! The best part: It was free! Because I can't post without a picture, here are three....of art.... in St. Pete....on Saturday. Enjoy where you live or move.
Wedding at Lyceum / The Don reception
On Saturday I helped shoot a wedding at the Mirror Lake Lyceum in St. Petersburg. It was just lovely. Allison was a beauty and you could tell that Nate was head over heals for her! We then headed to the Don Cesar for the reception. There were three (yes three) weddings going on there that night. The economy hasn't hit them apparently.
Since I like to do things a bit differently, I decided to start with the end of the night and work up to the beginning..... ok ok, I didn't do it on purpose. You caught me. Enjoy though.

That baby is three days old in this picture!

Two shoots rolled into one...not a bad idea!
I had the pleasure of getting together with Vicki and Amy and their wonderful, fun kiddos. They came to me (which I love and recommend!) and we headed downtown to the St. Pete pier and snuck into the Vinoy to (ahem) play, look around, and I just happened to have my camera for some pictures. We had loads of fun, and I was ecstatic to get the chance to photograph Titus especially since they live in Houston! Here are a few that I edited today.....Enjoy and have a great Easter!

Its black, its white ya ya ya.....
I have a shoot tomorrow, so I was supposed to be going through my images and deleting (still) the ones that I can afford to give up, just to make room for whats to come. (Believe me, I have files saved on hard drives and such AND still need to make room) Bad computer? You guessed it. As I go through more and more photos, I once again am distracted by all these black and white photos. They must be shared, they must not go. Not yet at least. Here are a few from some weddings. Really, spring cleaning needs to happen soon without blog distractions! Hope you like these bee -n- doubleyas.

- There is so much joy and love in life, its not always perfect but its there. At any opportunity that comes my way, at any stage of life I feel blessed to be able to capture it. Capturing your lives as they are now touches me. It shows strength through trials, love for family, joy for celebration, the beauty of growth and the fun in just everyday relationships.
