Babies are so cute, aren't they?! No matter what, you can't help but say 'awwwww' when you see a stroller strolling by. I just love a baby, especially a super cute one. Tucker was exactly that, not only a super cute baby, but a SUPER cute one (did I add enough emphasis on super? doubtful.). We started on an afternoon, my mistake, shame on me, typically babies are hungry and a bit sleepy around that time. Tucker was a champ for some of the family photos and then we resumed a couple days later for his solo debut. He had such a sweetness about him, and already he was looking for mom and dad....I could have been jumping through flaming hoops and he would still look for them, smart boy!!! Here are a few from that day!
Watch out! Vibrant family on the loose!
I had the pleasure of hanging out with the Ford family and taking some pictures. The family was full of energy and the kiddos were so vibrant and full of life, that even if they were to sit still they were looking for their next adventure. Isn't that what childhood is about anyway?! I always think that my nephew reminds me of Peter Pan.....these two kiddos were right there with him in Neverland. Very expressionable and looking for their next adventure. I still love the idea of 'never growing old', and these kiddos fit that mold...here are a few from that day!
Lightning and Marriage!
I had the pleasure of meeting up with these two soon to be's for a lil engagement shoot. These two are great, not only because they are huge lightning fan and wanted to incorporate their 'mr' and mrs' jerseys but also because they are loads of fun and so good together. If you scroll on down to the fourth picture you can see that Nathan was great when asked to go ahead and strike a pose, he 'wouurrked it'. :) I am excited to be a part of their wedding in April!! Here are a few of the first pics I edited over at Harbour Island and St. Pete Times Forum (before the name change!)
Just had to slip this one in Nathan! Holly your expression is priceless!!
Beautiful inside and out
There are many many reasons why a photographer loves a family, couple, etc. that comes back to have their pictures done with them. First off, it is a huge compliment, secondly they get to know their personality, and thirdly they are comfortable with you. I tell you what, the family below, is that and more. They are not only comfortable with having their pictures taken (if they weren't I wouldn't know) but even more so they are happy, content, comfortable, whatever you want to call it, with each other that it makes for a wonderful photoshoot. The Jones' are such a blessing in my life. They are so full of joy and so comfortable with one another that I truely get excited and look forward to see them when they schedule a photoshoot. I have gotten to the point where I ask Nicole 'What's the color theme?' And work around it. This time the colors they used were just perfect for the location but even more so, they were such a wonderful family I felt that all I had to do was say 'uh, smile I guess' and they brought the most brilliant smiles, it had nothing to do with my charm (ha) but more so where they are in their lives. Such a great family, I have to even mention, lil Nyla at one point even asked me ' can I have a picture with mom and me and then dad and me?' Why yes Nyla you sure can!!! Here are some of my favorites, it was hard to choose!!!
